The potential combination hinted at by both carriers threatens the future of Delta’s hub operations at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, which employs more than 7,000 local workers. … Davis noted a 2005 University of Cincinnati study showed the airport and its hub pumps $4.5 billion each year into the local economy.
