As part of a spending bill, Congress has earmarked $250,000 for the road which will connect Burlington Pike to Turfway Road near the southern border of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Another part will connect the new road to Houston Road across from Woodspoint Drive.

* $500,000 for rehabilitation and repairs to the easternmost North-South runway that parallels Donaldson Road at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron.
* $250,000 for the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky that will be used to pay a part of seven new buses.
* $195,000 for the Northern Kentucky University Metropolitan Education and Training Services Center. Davis’ office said the money is for additional equipment including a digital video and Web-casting system that will allow training programs to be simultaneously offered in multiple locations and recorded and wireless polling technology that will allow students to provide feedback during training sessions.
* $200,000 for Senior Services of Northern Kentucky’s Transportation to Wellness Program. The program gives transportation to seniors and disabled veterans.
* $282,000 for the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force.
* $250,000 for Thomas More College. The money is to expand its curriculum in health care fields by creating the Center for Regional Sciences and Health Care Management.
